Models are built precisely to 1x5 scale. For perspective, the Golden Lake Algonquin shown in this gallery is 38”L x 7”W. These are museum quality miniatures of actual canoe types and classes. Traditional materials and methods of construction of the original full sized canoes are used, including miniature tools. Details of all parts and lashings are fully to scale and not oversized as is common in models. Hidden details such as stems and planking is to scale and accurate in every sense.
